Why Travel?

“When you want something bad enough, the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

Why Travel?

  1. To leave your personal bubbles. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
  2. To familiarize yourself with the diversity of the world.
  3. To challenge yourself, test your drive and perseverance and obliterate self-imposed limits.
  4. Traveling (and even the anticipation of traveling) brings happiness and helps relieve stress.
  5. To develop skills you never knew you had and to rediscover those that you thought were lost.
  6. Because you learn much more by seeing, exploring, and experiencing than reading or looking at pictures.
  7. If you wait too long, you may never do it. Life is short.

“The power of travel:  It’s critical to become global.  To succeed in the world we need to understand it.  To do that, we must travel it.  To not only embrace this notion, but to live it.”

-Keith Bellows – Editor in Chief, National Geographic Traveler
